Mario Cazzola

Mario Cazzola is Honorary Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and Visiting Professor at the Sackler Institute of Pulmonary Pharmacology, GKT School of Biomedical Sciences, London, UK. He is the author or a co-author of about 600 papers mainly focused on pharmacotherapy of COPD. Prof. Cazzola is serving as Editor-in-chief of Pulmonary Pharmacology & Therapeutics and of COPD – Research and Practice and as an Associate Editor of Respiratory Medicine and Respiratory Research. He is a member of the Editorial Boards of Lancet Respiratory Medicine, Drugs, Respiration, COPD, International Journal of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and npj Primary Care Respiratory Medicine. Prof. Cazzola is a fellow of the European Respiratory Society in which he is now the Internal Auditor. He has received the 2015 European Respiratory Society Lifetime Achievement Assembly Award.
